Being a student at Greenheart Medical University I was elected to sit on the Student Government Association board as the secretary, this experience allowed me to work closely with our School President to be the voice for students of the university. In addition to this I gained experience and exposure as I represented the university at Career Fairs, Suicide Prevention awareness activities, Continuing Medical Education session, Health Seminars and assisted in the planning and execution for events in observation of religious holidays celebrated in Guyana.
